Albufera Natural Park
The Albufera Natural Park is one of the most valuable and representative coastal wetlands of the Valencian Community and the Mediterranean basin. Its proximity to the city of Valencia and easy access make it the perfect excuse to leave the city to spend a day in nature.

Nature, dreamy sunsets, boat rides and disconnection. Like an urban oasis surrounded by rice fields and forest: that is L'Albufera Natural Park.

Visit it if you want to understand the origin of Valencian gastronomy, as it is the place where paella was invented.

Go to the village of El Palmar and taste its typical dishes. Try the all-i-pebre or the marinated llisa and feel a new way of understanding food: enjoying and also understanding its origin. Take a walk along one of the six signposted itineraries of the natural park. Discover all the aquatic birds, the vegetation and live like a real fisherman of the area in the largest lake in Spain.

The landscape is a typical Mediterranean forest.

Beaches among natural parks
Only 10 minutes from Valencia are the best beaches located between natural parks. Located south of the port are those that go into the heart of the Natural Park of L'Albufera. They are 17 kilometers of fine golden sand, often between protected dunes and with all the attractions of its scenic beauty. To get there you can take the bus or private car, although we recommend cycling as in this area there is a magnificent bike path itinerary.

First we arrive at Pinedo, the only one that allows pets. And they are followed by: l'Arbre del Gos and El Saler. The latter and Pinedo have nudist areas. With the beach of La Garrofera we enter the Natural Park of L'Albufera.

Then we find the beach of La Devesa de El Saler, an authentically virgin sandy area of our route. It is 5 kilometers of nature in its purest form.

The end of the route takes us to Perellonet-Recatí, an urbanized beach surrounded by the characteristic landscape of rice fields.
